Gretna Public Schools will host a public meeting on Thursday, June 9, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the district’s Administration Building, located at 11717 S. 216th Street. The meeting will focus on the district’s plans for providing special education services during the 2025–2026 school year to children with disabilities who are homeschooled or attend nonpublic schools within the district boundaries.
Parents of students who are homeschooled or enrolled in nonpublic schools and who have been—or may be—identified with a disability are encouraged to attend. The meeting will provide important information and offer an opportunity for input on service planning for eligible students.
